At 2:15pm, Barack Obama will be in the room above my office (the Music Hall ballroom).
As a result of such, this morning we all had a nice little frisking on my way into the office. We aren’t allowed to leave the building for any reason, including lunch, and we can’t use areas such as our reception desk, our second-floor offices, our regular restrooms*, or our box office. There is a Secret Service guy (hi Tim!) sitting outside of my office, and a few others scattered throughout this wing.
*We’ve been directed to use the musicians’ locker room restrooms today instead, which I’d never seen. Photos tomorrow!
